Donovan Harmon

Founder/Owner/Chief Executive Officer

HRG Investigations’ founder, owner, and manager began his investigative career as a Federal Criminal Investigator. Harmon departed federal service and entered Law School while working as a Liability Claims Adjuster for a commercial carrier that insured an array of clients ranging from GM to Homeowners. Cases handled included 3rdParty Liability, Wrongful Death, Products Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Class Action Suits from take-in to trial. Following Law School, he took a position with an AV Preeminent, 13-member firm specializing in Personal Injury cases and remained an investigator.

During this time, Harmon obtained his first owner/manager PI License, which remains active. Investigating with these top-notch attorneys, with many subspecialties in the Personal Injury field, he worked every imaginable type of injury case; from supermarket slip and falls to 747 crashes. The firm worked injury cases for Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, and Western Pacific Railroads involving all the ‘crafts’ (brakeman, switchmen, maintenance of way & engineers). Other attorneys in the firm specialized in Iron Worker injuries, Medical Malpractice, and FELA law. While still working ‘in-house’ with personal injury attorneys, Harmon began to conduct Probate investigations working with Probate Judges, attorneys, and heirs to unclaimed property while serving the Corporate world with background screenings and security analysis.

In 1986 HRG Investigations became a completely independent investigative endeavor serving the markets seeking the expertise gained by HRG over the years; Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Probate, and Corporate while offering those services to the public at large. HRG has worked cases on all continents and most countries, maintaining investigative contacts, thereby extending our reach to wherever necessary to solve our client’s needs. We are gratified for our returning clientele continuing to select us as their solution to their legal concerns and business needs. See CV
